Board of Appeals Vacancy

Two vacancies have occurred, Member B & Member E, on the City of Miles City Board of Appeals. The current Mayor will appoint an individual to fill the vacancy, subject to confirmation by the City Council. The terms of the appointments shall be from the date of appointment by the Council and held through the end of term. Member B term shall be held until December 31, 2028. Member E term shall be held until December 31, 2026.

Persons interested in being appointed to fill the vacant term should submit a letter indicating the reasons for their interest and describing their relevant background. Please specify which membership seat you are applying for. Letters of interest should be hand delivered to the City Clerk's Office at 17 S 8th Street, e-mailed to cityclerk [at] milescity-mt.org (cityclerk[at]milescity-mt[dot]org) or mailed to the City of Miles City c/o City Clerk, PO Box 910, Miles City, MT 59301.  City of Miles City, City Council will interview applicants and are scheduled to make the appointment at a regular City Council meeting on January 27, 2026.

Letters of interest will be accepted until 5:00pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026, or until filled.
