Custer County & Miles City Burn Permits
All burn permits for Miles City and Custer County are now issued online.

Permits may also be obtained in person Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM at:

200 N Haynes Ave, Miles City, MT
Burn permits are valid from January 1 through December 31 each year.
IMPORTANT: You must activate your burn permit each time before you burn by calling the number listed on your permit.
Failure to activate may result in criminal charges and can trigger an unnecessary emergency response from local fire departments.
